Dr. Carlos Sandrea, DVM
Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Sandrea has dedicated nearly three decades to small animal medicine, with expertise spanning internal medicine, emergencies, and surgery. After completing his specialization in Veterinary Cardiology and small animal ultrasound at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, he became a trusted reference in advanced diagnostics.
He co-leads the Diplomado Internacional Online de Ecografía Veterinaria, endorsed by the University of Zulia in partnership with professors from the University of Buenos Aires. He has also published research in cardiology and ultrasound and has led workshops in advanced veterinary care.
Today, Dr. Sandrea proudly calls Florida home, bringing his experience to families in Miramar and the surrounding areas. He is also an active member of the AVVE (Asociación Venezolana de Veterinarios en el Exilio).
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Sandrea enjoys tennis, spending time with his wife and two children, and caring for his beloved dachshund, Chipi.
For Dr. Sandrea, great medicine is built on compassion and trust, ensuring every family feels supported and every animal receives care as unique as they are.
Dr. Mariana Sanabria, DVM
She's the proud owner of a 13-year-old dachshund named Mulato. She truly admires the spirited nature of goats. Her biggest passions are knitting and crocheting.

As our Practice Manager, Alex ensures that Paw Haus runs smoothly every day. From coordinating the medical team and scheduling appointments to making sure every pet parent feels welcome, Alex combines excellent organizational skills with a true passion for animals. What he enjoys most is building trusting relationships with families and creating a positive environment where pets receive the best care possible.
